A record number of Belpark members turned out for the annual club race, which was held in Dunmore East again this year. After a torrential downpour just minutes before the race, thankfully the sun came out and shone for the duration of the race.

Stephen Early was the first Belpark man home in 4th place overall, to hold onto the Male Club Champion title for the second year running. Barbara O’Hanrahan was first lady home with a second place finish to claim the Female Club Champion 2012, followed by Ellen Murphy who was third female.

There were Age groups prizes for a number of Belpark members: Stephen Early (First M 25-29), Louis Kelleher (Third M 25-29), Fiona o’Riordan (Second F 25-29 in her first triathlon!), Ellen Murphy (First F3-34), Barbara O’Hanrahan (First F 40-44), Helen French (Second F 40-44).
Team Belpark Casualties (Brendan Crawford, Derval Devaney and Kevin Keane) were the first relay team home.
